Central carolina steel
One of my favorite freelancing projects thus far has been updating a client's logo to match the parent company's updated brand guidelines. the client asked for a modern, minimalistic and refreshing new logo in place of the outdated logo (pictured below).
the client's parent company recently updated their logo (pictured below).
The First Draft(s)
My first take on the new logo is pictured to the left. i designed several different logos with varying typefaces, colors and illustration styles.

The Final Product
the final Logo (pictured below) is a cleaner version with an accurately depicted "I" beam. the new logo also follows the parent company's brand standards.
I created an entire logo suite for the company, complete with icons for social media and various color versions.
Silverlinks
In the fall of 2021, local small business, SilverLinks, commissioned my services to create a logo and business card for its niche formal accessory business. SilverLinks creatively recycles bullet casings into stylish cufflinks.
The client requested an industrial yet tasteful branding with the inclusion of cufflink imagery in the logo.
The images below depict the rough drafts I sent to the client, so we could work together and fulfill his vision.
Above is the final version of the logo, created in Adobe Illustrator, and the client's branded business card, created in Adobe InDesign.
